Dr. Tariq AlFarra

Interventional Pain Management Specialist

Tariq AlFarra, DO is a Hopkins-trained interventional spine and pain management specialist. Dr. AlFarra is an alumnus of Texas Christian University, where he graduated summa cum laude before obtaining his medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. He completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation followed by an interventional pain fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was elected as chief resident. During his tenure at Johns Hopkins, Dr. AlFarra received numerous academic and leadership accolades, including the prestigious Johns Hopkins Golden Heart Award.

My name is Lucas Mayrsohn. My mission is to empower you to become your best self, while providing a safe space for you to express your thoughts and feelings. Although I work with all types of clients, I specialize in treating adults suffering from depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, relationship issues, and substance abuse. I also have a special interest in helping individuals cope with the emotional stressors of having a stutter as well as those who struggle to cope with the emotional difficulties that come with aging and chronic pain and illness.

Physician Assistant

Rebecca Timoney is a Physician Assistant who has specialized in Pain Management since completing her training in 2016. Prior to this, she worked as an Associate Clinical Assistant in Pain Management while completing her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at New York Institute of Technology. It was here that she graduated with high honors and was inducted into the Alpha Eta Honor Society. Rebecca believes that an integral part of pain management is open communication and creating a trusting relationship with each patient. She does everything she can to improve the physical pain her patients experience and also improve overall quality of life. Rebecca loves to spend her free time with friends and family, including her husband, two beautiful daughters, and fur baby, Koda.

With more than 25 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based psychotherapy tailored to each individual’s unique needs. A graduate of NYU, my career has encompassed a wide range of professional roles — including teaching at the master’s level, maintaining a thriving private practice, and working collaboratively with city agencies to ensure access to quality mental health care for individuals across the lifespan.

Over time, I’ve developed a strong clinical focus on supporting individuals who are coping with the emotional and psychological impacts of chronic pain. I take a holistic and personalized approach, helping clients manage the mental and emotional toll of pain-related lifestyle changes while supporting their broader healing process. My goal is to create a therapeutic space that empowers each client to regain a sense of control, purpose, and resilience on their path to recovery.

Olivia believes in a holistic approach to wellness, integrating her knowledge of traditional dietetics with innovative holistic practices, aiming to alleviate pain and improve well-being from within. Recognizing that each individual’s pain journey is unique, she focuses on strategies to identify root causes and underlying imbalances to develop a tailored nutrition plan that will balance the body’s systems through a blend of science-backed techniques and real food solutions.
